Over the Past 30 years, EMO has developed a whole range of products and established partnerships that have enabled it to become a key player in its field, both nationally and internationally.
EMO, created in 1985 in Pacé (west of RENNES) France is a leading engineering company in the design, manufacturing, installation of electromechanical equipment and turnkey solutions for sewage, septage, wastewater and drinking water plants including :
- pretreatment (fine and coarse screens, screw conveyors, screw compactors, sand classifiers, grid and grease removal bridges)
- surface aeration systems (fixed or floating type) bridges,
- industrial effluent treatment with a wide range of dissolved air flotation units (DAF)
- sludge treatment (gravity belt thickeners, belt filter presses, combined systems GBT/BFP, screw presses, scraper bridges and sludge driers).
EMO was built around a know-how in special machines and finally turned to the environmental field starting into the treatment of urban and industrial sludge.
In 2005, the engineering company EMO merged with its 10 years subcontractor workshop, S2C based in ANGERS to create the SEMOSIA group.
The commercial, technical and financial synergies between the companies have created a real group dynamic. EMO is certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and is now committed to a CSR approach.
EMO now has equipment installed in more than 120 countries, sold through an established network of more than 70 agents or distributors around the world!
